Holly Ladage, the winner of the 2020 Millicent Daugherty Award, is the 2019 NATS winner in Musical Theater and 2019 2nd place winner of Classical Music, as well as a third time scholar of the 2020 George Caleb Bingham Music Academy. Holly is a rising singer, chamber choir member, pianist, harpist, performer, and ukulele playing student at Music/Arts Institute studying under Christina Casey Ray, Cynthia Tiller, and Wesley Snell.
Most recently Holly has performed with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City in their 2019 production of La bohéme, Landlocked Opera's productions of Beatrice and Benedict and also Trial by Jury. Some of her favorite community theater parts have included Janie Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life, Thing One in Seussical the Musical, an Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, among others.
Holly was excited to be cast in the Lyric Opera of Kansas City's 2020 production of The Shining as one of the Grady Girls. Covid19 cancelled that, but Holly is thrilled to be cast as Amahl in the Lyric Opera of Kansas City's upcoming performance of Amahl and the Night Visitors.
